F.A.W.C! Wallingford Truffles – A Paddock to Plate Experience

Road trip to the undulating hills of Wallingford in Central Hawke’s Bay for a truly enchanting escapade.
Arrive in the morning, don your wellies and rug up to walk Wallingford, with Kate de Lautour and truffle dog Jim as you hunt for truffles.
Dig up this mysterious, luxurious ingredient before heading back to Wallingford Homestead where chef Christopher Stockdale will prepare a stunning seven-course truffle degustation.
Paired with wines from Easthope Family Winegrowers, discussed and explained by winemaker Rod Easthope, this degustation will be a relaxed affair, where the incredible food elicits laughter, discussion, storytelling and daydreaming . . . all under the blue bowl of a perfect sky.
Ticket price includes a truffle hunt on the Wallingford grounds, a 7-8 course degustation lunch prepared and co-hosted by Chef Christopher Stockdale. Wines (4 glasses of 150mls) from Easthope Family Winegrowers, discussed explained and co-hosted by Rod and Emma Easthope.
