Hawke’s Bay Orchestra – ‘Concert of Jewels’

The Hawke’s Bay Orchestra is back with a ‘Concert of Jewels’, including two iconic Brahms’ works – Tragic Overture Op.81 and Symphony No.3 and Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.3.
The Hawke’s Bay Orchestra and visiting artists will be led by conductor José Aparicio.
Internationally celebrated concert pianist, chamber musician and educator Dr Jian Liu will perform the Beethoven Piano Concerto.
Dr Liu has performed and taught throughout Europe, Asia and North America. His artistry has seen him perform in some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Centre and Steinway Hall in New York and as a featured soloist with orchestras including the China National Symphony Orchestra. Yale Philharmonia, Phoenix Symphony Orchestra, NZSO and the Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine.
