Helen Ollivier Shape of the Land

Join us at Muse Art Gallery for Shape of the Land – a stunning collection of landscape paintings by Auckland artist Helen Ollivier. Featuring scenes from different parts of New Zealand, including Hawke’s Bay, this show reflects the artist’s love and connection to the land.

Helen Ollivier loves nothing more than tearing around the country on Great Walks and Rail Trails, as well as going on adventures closer to her home on the West Coast of Auckland. This connection with nature is what sustains and inspires her, so it is little wonder her work focusses on capturing the shape, colour and textures of the land that she loves. Muse Art Gallery was delighted when the artist accepted the invitation to visit Hawke’s Bay and take on the challenge of capturing the light and landscapes around our iconic Te Mata Peak.
