Screen Printing for Beginners workshop

Enjoy learning the creative and versatile skill of screen printing, suitable for beginners and more experienced artists. Talented printmaker and inspiring tutor, Lisa Feyen from Ink Moth Studio, will lead you through the whole process of stencil making and printing on paper and fabric. Lisa has a relaxed and encouraging approach to help you get the most from this one-day workshop. Learn the concept of stencil making, how to create a successful screen print design, cutting and printing techniques and colour blending. Take away some lovely printed items for gifts or for yourself.What to bring
Your lunch and water bottle
Your mask, axpron or old shirt and vinyl gloves
X-acto knife or similar plus blades (available at the Warehouse Stationery) need to be pointy for fine cutting.
Sketchbook, pen/pencil and eraser
A small selection of light coloured plain fabric items to print on such as t-shirts, tea towels, pillow slips or canvas bags plus fabric scraps to practice on.
If you prefer to print on paper, a range of heavy paper and card.
