Te Awanga music sessions hit the ground running in January with the magnificent sounds of The Cellar Door Band. Consisting of some of Hawke's Bay's finest muso legends - Scotty Smith, Tony Parker, Lindsay Gibb, Joel Wilton and Ben Throp - gates open at midday with music kicking in at 1pm and going until 5pm.

The service will focus on not only remembering this tragic day but also on celebrating the city around us and the community that we all share.
