What great positive responses from Mayor Sandra Hazlehurst. Highlighting the numerous projects that have been completed or are near completion allows her to concentrate on the major issues that are on their doorstep, protecting their elite soils, condensing their future housing needs, working on their water usage that is so vital to the uncertain future, weather and demand-wise. To be thinking about the next iteration of wastewater replacement processes when current consents expire is an example of great foresight and management. Napier certainly missed the bus when failing to honestly, practically, and logically consider the advantages of amalgamation. I fear for the outcry from one city over the revelation of debt totals if it ever occurs.
A BIG Congratulations to Hastings inner City planning and beautification.
