BayBuzz is a bold and lively magazine & online service reaching Hawke’s Bay’s premium and most engaged audiences.
The thinking, engaged people of Hawke’s Bay – who span all social strata of our region – crave a ‘space’ where issues are brought forward, a ‘big picture’ is presented, and the pot is stirred. At the same time, they want this ‘space’ to be well-produced, stylish, diverse in content, digestible, and even fun.
They want a media voice that reflects the intelligence and ambition we all see in Hawke’s Bay. Something to be as proud of as our best food and wines, our best talent, and our outstanding natural assets.
That’s the space BayBuzz aims to fill … with both our flagship magazine and much-expanded online service, The Buzz.
Many BayBuzz magazine articles are posted after publication here on the site.
We also publish new articles daily on the website, and wrap-up the week with our Saturday e-newsbrief, The Buzz.
Events are published daily on the site, and an overhaul is published on email every Wednesday, Buzz Events.

Two years ago, my family and I moved from a busy street in West Auckland to Havelock North, where the loudest sounds come from early morning dog walkers saying hello. We love what the region has to offer and since then have spent plenty of time exploring our incredible new home, especially the beaches and wineries. My career has always revolved around words, including roles as a print journalist, communications advisor, a stint as an English teacher in Italy, and most recently as a freelance copywriter.
