Voter Guide Profile: Hastings is my home – I’m ready to fight for its future.
Born in Waipukurau, raised in Takapau and Hastings, I’ve lived the highs and challenges of our region. With my husband we raised our two children here, I served on Raureka School’s BOT and cheered them through HGHS and Lindisfarne.
Self-employed since my early 20’s, and co-founder of a Deloitte Fast50 company, I
know how to be prudent yet creative to drive results; but my real driver is service.
My governance, advocacy and voluntary roles encompass the Civil Defence Emergency Response team, women’s health charity Rose Gold Trust, Screen Hawke’s Bay (our local film office) & St John Therapy Pets.
As a champion for our creative and commercial communities I’m prioritising smart
fiscal leadership by tackling our rising debt without crushing ratepayers & safer, healthier communities by backing families and local business.
