If elected this term, I will drive and avocate to spend your money sensibly, with prudent fiscal responsibility which means prioritising transparent, value for money spending and actively supporting external funding opportunities that relieve pressure on our ratepayer’s wallet. I understand your challenges not from a distance, but through lived experience – as a small business owner of Story’s Clothing in Waipukurau and serving on local organisations like the CHB Budget Service Trust, Takapau Lions Club and the CHB Ross Shield Committee.These roles keep me grounded in the realities our people face daily. As councillors, we must remain alert and engaged – with open ears and eyes or risk missing the truth as it walks right past us. I am committed to listening, understanding and representing our community with integrity and a common sense approach.
