Voter Guide Profile: I am a down-to-earth, pragmatic candidate who believes residents must have a real say in council decisions. There should be no surprises, just transparency.

With households under financial pressure, rate increases should not exceed the inflation rate. To strengthen financial management, council must review all services and infrastructure projects, find what’s not working, and cut waste. We have to prioritise the essentials. I support simpler, more efficient council processes that everyone can understand.

Residents are fed up with repeated resurfacing and ongoing road maintenance in our Ward. Council needs to identify why the same roads keep failing and fix the root causes.

A teacher, I’m closely connected to the community. Combined with my employee relations experience, I understand the importance of strategic planning, open communication and follow through. I will strongly advocate on your behalf and help build a council that pays attention and gains your confidence.
