Voter Guide Profile: “Driven to see our community thrive.”

Challenges remain in the Wairoa district, particularly in the cost of recovery from Cyclone Gabrielle and June 2024 flooding events. I am committed to helping rebuild our community and shaping a positive future and strategy for our district.

It has been a privilege to serve the community on the Wairoa District Council over the past three years and my reason for re-standing is to see some key projects through to completion as well as ensure there is a rural voice around the council table.

My husband and I are proud to farm in Wairoa and our business revolves around the primary sector, both agriculture and horticulture. My life is deeply embedded in the district, where I actively contribute to business, economic, and community development initiatives.

Positive communities are built on trust, inclusivity, mutual support and respect. I will ensure your voice is heard and work hard to build a thriving community.
