Standing For: Napier City Council
Ahuriri Ward
Voter Guide Profile: You know what makes Ahuriri, Napier special — and so do I. Our people, our place, and the potential we share are worth protecting and growing.
As a ratepayer, local business owner, experienced governor, and active community member and advocate, it’s a privilege to serve Napier. I’ve led teams across council, health, social services, community development, and sport — including as Chair of the Hawke’s Bay Hawks.
I’m reliable, well-prepared, and collaborative. I do the reading, think critically, and make grounded decisions — guided by listening and advocating for our community.
My priorities are keeping rates affordable, protecting our city’s assets and infrastructure, and making sure Napier’s voice is heard. When we get the basics right, people thrive and opportunities follow.
I want Napier to keep attracting public and private investment, to stand strong in the region and across the country. I’ll keep working to help it prosper.
Experienced, Strong, Grounded
