Hawke’s Bay has received $136,000 from the government’s Regional Events Promotion Fund, helping boost regional tourism and promote local events. 

The Fund is aimed at regions that don’t usually see high numbers of domestic tourists, especially during the quieter seasons. 

Here are the events receiving funding support:

• Art Deco festival Napier 2026 – $26,000 
• ASICS Runaway Hawke’s Bay Marathon – $25,000
• Horse of the Year 2026 – $20,000
• Outfield Music Food and Arts festival – $20,000
• Harvest Hawke’s Bay Wine and Food festival – $15,000
• Hastings Meatball Festival 2026 – $10,000
• Jazz in the Park Church Road – $10,000
• The Spring Fling festival – $10,000
