The Profit Unleashed business event series returns to Hawke’s Bay on Friday February 13, with a special one night Sport edition.
This event on the Friday night ahead of the Warriors v Manly preseason clash at Centennial Hall at McLean Park marks the first time The Profit Unleashed has been staged in Napier. It is also the sixth event in the series, with all previous events selling out.
The evening will bring together some of the biggest names in elite sport, focusing on leadership, high performance, and life beyond professional competition.
The programme features an exceptional line up of sporting greats, including netball icon Irene van Dyk, NRL Hall of Famer and Manly Sea Eagles legend Cliff Lyons, fellow NRL Hall of Famer and premiership winner Steve Menzies, and premiership winning NRL playmaker and New Zealand international Kieran Foran.

Other sporting legends will also be in attendance on the night.
Founder and host Damon Harvey says: “This is an incredible line up with some of the biggest names in sport. They will share their journeys as high performing athletes and the transition from retirement into business, work, and life beyond professional sport.”
Harvey says the timing and location add to the uniqueness of the event. “Holding the event at McLean Park the night before the Warriors and Manly face off creates an atmosphere you simply cannot replicate. There is a real sense of anticipation and energy in the city.”
Adding a music dimension to the evening, acclaimed New Zealand musician Laughton Kora, founder of the band Kora, will perform live.
The night will also feature a charity auction item for Hawke’s Bay Rugby League and another item for another local charity.
In addition, a business or not for profit organisation will take part in The Pitch, a five minute live pitching segment where they will present their idea, concept, or organisation to the audience.
The event is designed to appeal equally to sports fans and business leaders, owners, and professionals, bringing together high performance thinking from both worlds, aiming to connect and inspire attendees while setting a strong tone of ambition and success for the year ahead.
Tickets are now on sale and demand has been strong, tracking as the fastest selling Profit Unleashed event to date.
Tickets are $65 each and available from www.eventfinda.co.nz/2026/the-profit-unleashed-sport-legends-special/napier
