Drinks List of the Year – Teresa, Napier

Pacifica, again, received the coveted 3-hats (Cuisine’s highest ranking, six restaurants in NZ). 2-hats go to Central Fire Station and Craggy Range, and 1-hat to Black Barn Bistro.

From Brewers Guild of New Zealand Beer Awards

Best IPA beer – Terrible Lizards, crafted by Brave Brewery. Owners Matt and Gemma Smith, brewer Kalynn Glasscock. Brave Brewery won 12 other silver and bronze medals.

Champion New Zealand Manufacturer – to contract brewing facility Brewing Work (bStudio) in Napier.

The competition included 825 entries across 123 styles from 80 companies.

Master Builders NZ – House of the Year – Central NI/East Coast and Hawke’s Bay 

And from the ‘bricks and mortar’ sector, these winners.
