Standing For: Central Hawke’s Bay District Council
Ruataniwha Ward
Voter Guide Profile: I am seeking re-election in 2025.
This is a challenging time for households and council. Affordability must remain at the front of minds when making decisions, while we remain focused on core infrastructure.
Representing “Your Voice” remains vitally important to me, and I will continue to engage at every opportunity, always representing the everyday ratepayer.
I am an active Councillor. On Council, and as a member of the Risk and Assurance Committee and the District Plan Hearings, I have strengthened my understanding of regulatory frameworks, and long-term planning. I believe my background and experience positions me well to make informed, balanced decisions that reflect both community needs and the broader strategic direction of our beautiful District.
I bring 30 years’ experience in the Rural Transport Industry, working in Human Resources and Compliance. A proud CHB local, I’m actively involved in community volunteer roles. I’m married to Peter with three children.
