Voter Guide Profile: I care deeply about Napier – its people, heritage and future.

With a background in farming, science, business and community service, I am known to be approachable, to listen, to problem-solve and deliver results.

I bring genuine community insight, a commitment to practical common-sense decision-making and a strong work ethic, demonstrated by my 96% total council attendance record.

A highlight for me this term was the Napier War Memorial restoration, a powerful example of what community voice can achieve.

As a proud 5 th generation local, Cyclone Gabrielle was heartbreaking. It was a time to show leadership and compassion. Helping set up and run a community evacuation centre showed my commitment to stepping up in tough times.

I’m committed to keeping Taradale and Napier moving forward by fixing the basics, building resilience, sensible spending, maintaining our assets and housing our people, while staying true to what makes it home.
