As Deputy Chair of the Future Napier Committee, Chair of the Arts Advisory Committee, and holder of the Arts, Culture and Heritage Portfolio, Ronda is an active and influential voice around the Council table. Her dedication to Napier’s heritage, people, and future is unwavering.

A standout example of community-led advocacy was the restoration of the Napier War Memorial Centre—a cause close to Ronda’s heart. With personal family ties to the memorial, she proudly stood with the community to see the War Memorial Centre restored on August 6th, 2023—a moment of great pride and meaning. A personal highlight was when Ronda relit the Eternal flame.
