Two quite different housing projects are in the Hastings pipeline, one urban intensification and one rural lifestyle.

Final approval has been given by an HDC hearing panel to a 35-home development adjacent to Oderings Nursery and Guthrie Park in Havelock North. The project is being undertaken by Oderings, owner of the site.

Meantime, the Limestone Hills development, spread over 143 hectares atop Roy’s Hill has reached its initial commercial point, with the first 14 of ultimately 35 sites going on sale, marketing by Bayley’s. The development overlooks the Gimblett Gravels and Ngatarawa Triangle wine areas.
