Hōhepa Hawke’s Bay named Supreme Award winner

Hōhepa Hawke’s Bay has been named Supreme Award winner at the 2025 Pan Pac Hawke’s Bay Business Awards, sponsored by Pan Pac Forest Products Ltd, after also being awarded the Outstanding Social Impact prize. 

Hosted by the Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce, the Awards celebrate the region’s top businesses, judged by a panel of experts.

Judges praised Hōhepa as a “standout choice” for its “passion and commitment to empowering individuals, strengthening community and creating sustainable social impact.” Its innovative, value-driven approach is shaping the future of disability support and community living in Aotearoa, delivering a proven $3 social return for every dollar invested.

Cameron Taylor

Taylor Corp’s Cameron Taylor won Leader of the Year for his compassionate and courageous leadership after Cyclone Gabrielle. Following his heroic flood rescue efforts, Cameron led the Taylor Corp team through a significant rebuild and toward a record export season.  

Best Micro Business went to Contentment PR and Communications, for its discerning client management and commitment to the community.

Brittin Builders took home Unison’s Excellence in Business Award, for its investment in leadership and technology and robust project management and communication. 

Outstanding Māori and Pasifika Business went to Kahu Scaffolding

Tech start-up RossAi, which makes leading-edge AI and sensor technology, was named Best Emerging Business.

Pēpi Eats took out the People’s Choice Award. The business’ durable and safe lunch boxes, plates and drink bottles are designed locally and thoughtfully, often with a Māori flavour.

Chamber CEO Karla Lee says the winners showcase excellence, innovation, resilience and community spirit at the highest level.
