The Regional Council, with other stakeholders, has stepped up its examination on the Hawke Bay marine environment.
The initial fruits of this work will be presented on Tuesday, 8 December, 11am via a webinar open to the public.
This presentation will focus on two key marine stressors: freshwater sedimentation and loss of benthic (seabed) structure.
In the webinar, speakers Carolyn Lundquist (NIWA), Anna Madarasz-Smith (HBRC), Becky Shanahan (HBRC) and Justin Connolly (Deliberate) will present results from stage 1 of the Hawke’s Bay regional study.
