Cake, a cuppa and Co-governance is a free event on Monday September18 at Hastings’ St Matthews Church to explore the vexed topic of co-governance. It will include a panel discussion, question time and speakers with direct experience of co-governance in action.

The meeting will be a safe forum for people to hear local experts discuss the topic and to be able to ask questions about what it all means for everyone living in Aotearoa New Zealand.

The meetings are not associated with any political party.

Moderator for the evening will be former Hastings District councillorGeraldine Travers MNZM. Geraldine is also a former principal of Hastings Girls’ High and former EIT Council Chair.

The panel of speakers include Hawke’s Bay Regional Councillor MartinWilliams, Hastings lawyer Mark von Dadelszen, and Haumoana writerKeith Newman.

The meeting is on Mondays September 18, 7pm-9pm at St Matthew’sChurch, 200 King Street South, Hastings.
