Commemorating 150 years of Hastings – 150th Commemoration Official Tree Planting Ceremony
July 8, 2023 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
The 150th commemoration of Hastings township is being marked with an official tree planting and plaque reveal ceremony led by Mayor Sandra Hazlehurst and descendants of Francis Hicks who founded Hastings in 1873. A time capsule full of letters from local schools will be buried during the ceremony, with students reading their letters.
The event is supported by Bernard Chambers Charitable Trust.
