‘Ocean and I’ Art Exhibition

We have over 30 New Zealand artists bringing their connection with the ocean to life through a month long art exhibition
Much like the phrase, ‘Ocean & I’ is an opportunity for you to reflect on the importance of the ocean to you personally, whilst also appreciating its legacy and the unique roles it plays in the lives others.
Running from 1 – 31 October, the exhibition will be staged throughout the National Aquarium and feature a collection of artworks including photography, paintings, sculptures and more. Contributing artists include David Trubridge, Susan Mabin, Glen Colchin, Lisa Feyen and many others.
As you move through the exhibition there will be opportunities to pause and reflect on your own memories and experiences in relation to our all-important moana, as well as contributing to a community artwork piece in our oceanarium. A selection of the artworks on display will also be available for purchase.
