The Arts Society Hawke’s Bay welcomes Gillian Hovell

Join The Arts Society Hawke’s Bayas Guest to hear Gillian Hovell – Archaeologist and Ancient History specialist present “A Mediterranean Tour – Not just a bunch of old stones”. Gillian will talk about how to understand and identify one style of ancient art and architecture from another. Learn how to see the world like an archeologist. We are a membership organisation – to attend as a guest there is a fee of $25 for adults / $10 for students which includes wine, tea or coffee, sandwiches and something sweet, all served afterwards and enjoyed whilst talking to others and an opportunity to meet visiting UK speaker Gillian Hovell and find out about becoming a member.
