Verse and Versatility

On Sunday November 19 the choir will present a concert titled Verse and Versatility in St. Matthews church, Hastings at 2 pm. The verse is a premiere performance of a beautiful setting of Shakespeare’s Sonnet 116, composed by current choir director, Jane Pierard. The program is diverse and exciting, showing off the versatility of the choir, including Hone Tuwhare’s “Rain” a jazzy “Bim Bom” and the version of Psalm 23 heard over the opening credits of “The Vicar of Dibley”!
