Theatre Hawke’s Bay are holding a group workshop audition for their upcoming play, Wait Until Dark, on Wednesday 13 July 2022.
SYNOPSIS
Sam and Susy Henderson, along with Gloria the girl next door, become unwittingly involved in the search for a drug-filled doll by a group of desperate criminals. As the situation becomes more frightening and confused, Susy needs to decide who to trust, and how to survive using only her wits and courage.
CAST
We are looking to fill several roles to bring this show to life:
Susy – A courageous blind woman
Sam – Susy’s photographer husband
Roat – A devious conman
Mike – A charming conman
Croker – A brutish conman
Gloria – A petulant 12 year old girl
Two policemen – Minor roles, could double as stage crew
