WINTER SOAP BOX DERBY

We are excited to include one of the Summer Festival’s most popular events in our Winter line up! Coordinated by the Rotary Club of Ahuriri Sunrise, the annual Soap Box Derby competition is back again, ready for children and parents to race their homemade carts in front of the cheering crowd! Great prizes are up for grabs. This year, the event holds a special purpose, so bring along a gold coin and help us fundraise for the Cyclone Gabrielle relief efforts.  

Please note: Mustering area is in Herschell Street between the Art Deco Centre and MTG Hawke’s Bay. Scrutineering is in Herschell Street (access via Browning Street) at 9.30am, first race at 10.30am. Starting line is outside the Art Deco Centre, 7 Tennyson Street, Napier.
