Kiwi superstar Lorde is coming to town. Havelock North to be specific. The Grammy winner will perform a show on her ‘Solar Power’ tour at the Black Barn amphitheatre in March 2022.
It will be Lorde’s first visit to the Bay, the performance one of nine shows on her New Zealand and Australian tour to promote her new album, which will be released later this year.
In true Lorde style, venues aren’t your regular Spark Arena or Michael Fowler Centre (however she will play the outer fields of Western Springs), preferring venues including Neudorf Vineyards in Upper Moutere, Days Bay and New Plymouth.
Black Barn has a capacity of 1,800 and we suspect every piece of grass and every seat will be taken. Tickets go on general public sale on Monday 5 July at 12 noon.
