Some of you around the region will recall that a small army of students from the University of Auckland’s geography program visited HB last September.
They were conducting field research on almost sixty different projects, looking at topics like tourism promotion, access to health care, environmental controversies like Ocean Beach and wind farm projects, regional economic development, and historic preservation.
In particular, those of you from various Councils, businesses and NGOs who shared your time and insights with these students might like to see the fruits of their efforts.
