The recent decision to postpone the Hawke’s Bay Art Festival was perhaps inevitable but the festival director Pitsch Leiser has lost his job
His innovative approach to the festival over the past 9 years makes his loss to the cultural life of the region a serious one. Receiving recognition for his utter commitment may go some way to soften the blow. If you agree join me in nominating him for this award
