This month: Marine Parade is a fabulous all-year-round destination. Lots of people around Hawke’s Bay are doing good stuff looking after the land, volunteers are planting thousands of natives all over the place and there’s a heart-warming story with a happy ending. But not all good news this month: an RNZ article states, “We should be ashamed” of Napier’s National Aquarium of New Zealand (WATCHDOG! agrees) and an old orchard dump is uncovered beside the Karituwhenua Stream in Havelock North.
