In case you missed these during your holiday revelry, a couple of announcements important to HB drivers were made last week.
The Hastings District Council issued an update on its schedule of post-cyclone road and bridge repair. Among the locations reported on: Kererū Gorge, Olrig Bridge, Puketapu Bridge, Matapiro Bridge, Rissington Bridge, slips along Taihape Rd, Puketītiri Rd and Dartmoor Rd.
And from NZ Transport, work plans for the Expressway were announced with respect to both the widening and other maintenance with road closure/detour implications.
Gee isn’t that great – our MP’s have achieved a widening of the road – is that the sum total of their representation to date (and before anybody screams – I am/was a National supporter)
Duh?! Did you read the article?! Stage One Enabling work; does that not suggest it is the Start of a Larger Project?! (And, I thought All National Supporters were literate?!)
